A playoff spot seems very unlikely at this point. After tonight's game against Milwaukee, Rochester will only have eight games remaining and they currently have 68 points, while Toronto has 83. It looks like the only battle now is to hold off Hamilton for the fifth spot in the North Division standings.

The last time the Amerks missed the playoffs was back in 1988-89 with John Van Boxmeer as the coach. The bright side is that the Amerks would reach the Calder Cup Finals in three of the next four seasons.

As a Moose fan I'd just like to say it's sad not to see the Amerks in the playoffs this year. I was looking forward to hopefully playing you guys again.

P.S. - Manitoba fans would be very appreciative if Rochester could knock off Syracuse a few times so we can try to catch them for second.

Last night was painful to watch. I didn't even find myself angry at the people who left early. =(
